28 January 2017 was a day of blessing for the Province of Mary Immaculate as the new provincial councillors took over their responsibility in the presence of Sr. Philomena Mathew, the superior General. On this occasion, the outgoing provincial councillors handed over the documents to the newly appointed members. A meaningful prayer service was organized by provincial house community in gratitude to God for the gift of the newly appointed leaders of the province. During the prayer, each of them took the oath, promising their fidelity in carrying out their responsibilities. The prayer service was followed by a short felicitation by the children of Maayer Asha and the sisters.
